Day to ripen

The season is going great. I had just a few worms at the start, but now they seem to be practically none existent.

I did sell out my first picking though and my next one is not quite ready in time. For those looking for corn in the little red house, there will be more there again on Thursday the 29th.

Specific date of opening!

I am glad to announce that the sweet corn tastes great and has good ear size. Worms appear like they might be setting in early this year, so I will try to be watching that while I pick. This all comes down to say that I will be officially starting to sell at my red shack (directions here) on Thursday, July 22nd.

The sweet corn is planted and up. By my current predictions I would say that you can be looking forward to this lusciously sweet corn around the 10th of August.
